It started off as a beautiful day, but as we headed up the mountain we could see the storm clouds brewing. We arrived to the cabin that Jessica and Alex had rented in beautiful Asheville, NC for their destination wedding just as the sun was heading behind the clouds. We started inside with the detail shots as we always do and waited for the rain to subside. Fortunately we were blessed yet again with a wedding day that would dry up just when we needed it too! We got outside for the First Look (more on this awesome option later!), then did most of the bridal party shots, and family…then we waited on the rain shower until time for the ceremony. It finally passed for good, right in time to wipe down the chairs and get everything going! What a blessed day it was!
Alex and Jessica are such a precious couple and spending this day with them was an honor for my husband and I. The intimate group that gathered around this new marriage made everything that much more special! Jessica, your day was gorgeous! I hope you enjoy this sampling of images!
