Baby Davis | Hendersonville, NC Newborn Photographer

Whoa…I just realized this is my 300th post! Now in the blog world…that is probably not a lot. But for this girl, who never thought she had an artistic bone in her body, it is quite a feat that I can only say is because of the Lord. I never knew that you could make a career doing something for others that you would love in return. Yesterday I had a text from a friend that I have been photographing for years and she told me that looking back at her family on my blog had brought tears to her eyes at work…she thanked me for doing what I do. That is just exactly why I do it.

Right now, it seems I am battling with picking up my camera for my own family. I think everyone goes through this at times…when your work becomes work at home and you find it hard to get in a groove of taking pictures of your own family (or at least it seems I have heard that from photographer friends). I guess it is the same concept as the plumber who has a leaky faucet in his own house! So…as my belly grows in anticipation of our next little bundle of joy and my business slows down for the winter season, I am really going to try and focus on being intentional in my own home with my camera! I want to look back at this blog in years to come and see not just everyone else’s family, but my own…pray for me as I undertake this new season of life.

As I think about my newborn to come, I am honored to share just a few from one of my dear long-time friend’s session. This little guy gave Mom and Dad a fit throughout the entire time he was in the womb. Many scares and worries, yet answered prayers because this little guy is perfect!!

Welcome Baby Davis!

Hi, I have a 15 day old and was wondering how much you charge for newborn photos?
