It all started a few months ago. I was working on my blog and noticed a comment waiting for approval. I had not received the email saying it was there…I kinda just stumbled on it. The email was from Amanda at Children’s Wish Foundation asking if I would be willing to do a photo session of a little girl getting her wish revealed. I was honored to do be there and would have gone that day had it been ready!
I was so blessed to meet this sweet girl last week. After being diagnosed with cancer 2 years ago that caused her to loose her kidney, McKenzie was able to have her wish come true. She wanted a room makeover! What a precious young girl! She and her family have undergone the tremendous struggle that comes with having a child that is sick. Yet, when I met them, they seemed like any other normal family. A beautiful girl who just radiated happiness from this amazing wish that was granted for her! McKenzie’s room was beautiful and I know she is so happy to have it done!!

I can not wait to come back to do family pics!! Please pray for this family that McKenzie continues to do well and for her cousin who has been diagnosed with leukemia.
