When Karen emailed 3 weeks ago asking to book a wedding on November 5th, I was a little shocked! This has been the year for weddings booked with us on very short notice! When she explained that they had originally planned for a destination wedding, but their kids had adamantly put their foot down that they wanted to be a part of the service…I thought I had hit the jackpot to be a part of such a sweet and intimate service!
Karen told me, “I love this man more than life and this day is so special to us both.” She said the main thing to her was to have beautiful pictures to remember the day! So…having a completely booked calendar for November 5th, the day before they were leaving for the big trip, I said the only thing I could say…I will fit you in!!
So, we had to use the worst time of day for pictures to schedule their wedding…from noon until 2. If you are a photographer or know any…you know that we love mornings and afternoons because that is when light is primo! But, this wedding blew that theory out of the water…it turned out gorgeous! I believe it was solely because these two have a big, huge love and that is what shined through on this day!!
