My girls are growing so fast!  I find it so hard these days to pick up my camera for them…that is an area where I plan to improve next year!  I have loved documenting families for 10 years and as I see my family growing so quickly before my eyes, I know it is important to keep my calendar open for them more and more!!

Its all about balance folks!  How many of you Mama’s struggle with balance?  Well, let me tell you a little secret.  There is no balance.  We must give 100% to everything we do.  There.  I said it.

You see, if we try to give our work enough to satisfy our boss…and our family enough to satisfy them…and still have enough leftover to have some time for self-care then we have literally only given each of those things about 30%.

haha!  It is basic math!

So…when I say that I want to find balance…I want to give my girls 100% of my focus and attention when it is time for us to spend together.  When I am working…I want to give my clients and businesses 100% of my creativity, focus, and attention to detail. And, when I get those rare moments that I can spend just for me…I want to focus 100% on growing personally and spiritually!

I think when we realize that God has called us to be so much more than we currently are…we will find that it is impossible to do it all.  But, if we live our lives with an audience of One (that is Him)…then we will succeed because we can not fail when we are doing everything for Him, through Him and because of Him!
