I am so honored that I got to be a part of their day! They have the coolest Love Story that I have heard in a long time! In Laura’s words:
Ritchie and I met 17 years ago when mutual friends set us up on a date. I was a freshman in high school and Ritchie was a sophmore. We went out once or twice and then lost touch with each other over the years. He left quite an impression on me, and apparently I never wandered too far from his mind either – come to find out, we both tried to find each other not long ago, but with no luck. But, thankfully God already had plans for our paths to cross again and last October, we ran back into each other at an event in my hometown. I saw this gorgeous guy walk in, but I didn’t recognize that it was Ritchie (it had been almost 20 years!). The next thing I knew, this “gorgeous guy” was saying hey to me and asking how I had been! When I realized who he was, I couldn’t believe it! I was so happy to see him again, and those butterflies that he gave me 17 years ago, all came fluttering back in that moment! 🙂 He got my phone number that night and the rest is history! We have spent the past 11 months side by side, getting to know each other, growing closer, making memories, and falling deeper in love every day…
