Short-notice | Rumbling Bald, Lake Lure, NC | Wedding Photographer

I am so blessed! I can not say that enough. A month ago…this wedding was not on my calendar. Due to unfortunate circumstances…the wedding photographer they booked almost a year ago was unable to shoot their wedding. I received a call…sent some info…met with the mother of the bride…and booked the wedding. At that time…it was about two weeks away. For an OCD person like me…that was tough! I usually like to meet with the Bride and Groom (nope…they lived in Atlanta), go over timelines and schedules (nope…those were already in place), feel out the ceremony location ahead of time (nope…met with everyone there the week of the wedding)…etc. But, you know what…it really didn’t matter. I was meant to shoot this wedding. Its funny, when the Lord brings something to you…that you are meant to do…he doesn’t just drop it in your lap and say, “Well here you go!” Nope…he follows through big time. He provides strength when you feel weak, courage when you are afraid, and wisdom when you feel like you are losing your mind!

All I really want to say is though…next time Lord, can you get a girl a fan?!?! It is hot out there!
