This week has been tough. My little boy has been sick…I have been sick…I returned a computer that broke three times this summer and finally got the money back…I ordered a brand new computer…and thankful as I am…it is a JOB to get a computer up to speed for the kind of work I do. Computer issues while maintaining a very busy holiday season has been challenging and frustrating on so many levels!
But…as tough as it has been…I really and truly am thankful for the tests and trials. Every time I think I can’t handle much more on my plate…the Lord shows me that He is committed to providing the strength I need to accomplish what needs accomplishing.
I keep a sweet baby in my home. He is absolutely precious and he has had a tough road in the 8 months of his little life. Brain surgery and an upcoming hernia surgery to name a few things. But, God is supreme. He has had His hands on this precious babies family. They have a special gift in this baby boy of theirs and I am just so thankful that I have had the opportunity to have him in my home.
Cause you know what…my minuscule trials and troubles are nothing to what a lot of families are going through tonight. many have not got enough feed to keep their belly’s full until morning. Many do not have enough money to pay their power bill this month. Some are even living in their cars. Thank you God for my trials and troubles for they only bring me closer to you.
Tonight I am posting a pic from a month or so ago from an outing to the park with my son. I have quite a few good ones from this day…but, no time to edit them! This image was edited on my laptop which means I have no idea how it really looks! I will just assume it looks good…and if it doesn’t…don’t tell me!
