The Birth of Eli | Greenville, SC Birth Photography

I had the most amazing opportunity a few weeks ago to be the birth photographer for a very special couple who also happen to be professional photographers. I was honored to be working with Labors of Love midwifery again at the home birth of this sweet couple. I arrived around 8:30 expecting a baby any moment…but, unfortunately labor does not always progress the way you expect…by 8:30 that evening we had to travel to the hospital in hopes that some pain relief would speed things along…but, alas, by 6:30 the next morning the decision to do a c-section was made. Fortunately Dad knew how to work my camera so he took it right into the OR. I left the hospital at 8:30 Sunday morning having spent a full 24 hours with this amazing couple. I am honored to share their labor story!
