What a pleasure this family always is! I have been photographing them for a very long time! I look back at some of the first pictures and I can not believe how much they have grown and how far I have come in this journey of becoming a photographer. You know…I don’t really remember a day that I said, “I want to be a professional photographer,” it was more of a gradual process where little by little the Lord showed me that He could make an artist out of me…even me! You see, I always was a wanna-be artist. I was really good at starting projects and never finishing…or buying supplies and never getting around to actually doing the project.
All along…I think a big part was fear. Being afraid that I really wouldn’t be good at it and by finishing something…the proof would be evident. Well, since then, Jesus has become Lord of my life and He is showing me that completion of the project is not something to be feared. You see, He has started a good work in me…and He will see it through to completion (see Phillipians 1:6 for the actual verse). The process is the best part…where all along this road of life He teaches us and molds us and makes us new…in His very image! He is the only reason I have a creative bone in my body. It is not for my glory, but for His.
So…here is Amber’s family once again…I absolutely adore them!
