What a day…what a day. I could not believe the blessing this day was for myself and our team. We woke up to rain…not just a drizzle…pouring rain. Bucketfuls! My husband and I prayed over the day and the couple that was getting married that day. I checked with my second shooter and friend, Lori to let her know that she might want to bring extra clothes and shoes since we had no idea what we were in for…

The thing is…since we had no idea what we were in for…what we got was one blessing after another. It started on our arrival. We sat in the car and spent time in prayer over the day asking God to be glorified in everything we did. We prayed for His creativity and His love to pour through us. That is exactly what happened. He blessed us over and over. It rained all day…but, each time we got ready and needed to go out to shoot…it stopped raining. As soon as we were done, it started up again. The ceremony was outside and the chair company would not allow their chairs to get wet. It stopped raining just in time to get those chairs set-up for the ceremony outside…again and again we got a break in the rain long enough to do what we needed to do.

Now for the bride and groom. My goodness where do I even start. Their love for each other…their playfulness and fun side. Their families and friends who loved on each other and us throughout the entire day. I can not believe how much fun we had! I have laughed and rejoiced as I worked through these images…I was truly blessed to be a part of this wedding! I can’t thank you enough Robert and Jessica for the blessing you were to me!

Highlights to look for…A first look with the Father of the bride. Then…Dancing down the aisle!! How fun was that?? An amazing meal of Low Country Boil! An over-the-top DJ that really has perfected the art of getting people on the dance floor and keeping them there…from the first song to the last…no joke! A funny garter grab…and many other fun things I am sure you will love!!
