Last Saturday I had the pleasure of photographing a family at Pearson Falls in Tryon. When Jennifer initially asked me what I thought about the Falls as a location, I jumped on board with both feet! What I didn’t know, or blocked from memory, is that it is a tiny little hike up to the Falls, and to me…that equals exercise. What you have to realize is that I am one of these people who wants a rockstar fashion model body…and dreams of the day that my exercise routine will last more than one hour once a year, but as of yet…it hasn’t happened. I am totally an ice cream eating, second-helping grabbing, kinda girl! You gotta love me anyway!
So, when I awoke the day after this session, I remembered why I avoid all things exercise…I don’t like sore muscles!!! The only thing I will say that made it worthwhile…getting to photograph an amazing family/extended family…in a beautiful setting that gave lots of fun and variety! Feel free to pick a unique location for your setting! I promise I will jump on the wagon!! But, I might whine about it later! LOL!

Oh Kelli! Just super! I can’t wait to see the rest! We had such a fun day. Sara DID have fun, even though she was done an hour into the shoot. That evening, we had to have a photo session with her American Girl dolls. 🙂 LOL @ the sore muscles! It was worth it – you rock. 😉
I am so glad you like them Jennifer! I actually have some cute ones in front of the Falls of Miss Sara’s moment…she was just great…moments come and go…I hope these you will cherish forever!
I was hoping you did!! LOL! Yes, her moments are something I will miss. One day. 😉 I’m glad you are an understanding mama! Do you happen to have a shot like the one of Gunnar standing with Jess’ tattoo showing more? The yellow ribbon? It has Sheldon’s initials under it… Thought that might be neat.
